I am using a interaction but want the flash swf to communicate with articulate when they have clicked in the right place. Is there some way of communicating between the two.
If not and I put a hotspot over the swf movie will this over ride the swf movie underneath? I'm guessing probably.
I see this so often. In Articulate Prestenter 09 Flash could communicate with Articulate. Then in A'13 all changed to AS3. And the api was locked down to prevent communication between Flash and A.
You'll need to set up a method to allow for communication using Javascript and variables. There are a few other threads where users discuss similar requests such as this one or this one, or this other thread.
Hope those help get you started or provide some further context!
