I don`t know if this is intentional, but the triggers that change the state of the Next and Previous buttons to Normal are set to `When the timeline ends`. If you click on each layer and wait long enough (19 sec.) the Next/Prev buttons will eventually change.
Arg! No, I don't need the timeline longer on my layers. How obvious and silly of me. I thought I had shortened the timeline - but I must have been dreaming.

they are working - it's the length of the timeline on the layers. To test I reduced them to 2 secs
May to need to look at using when timeline starts instead of when timeline ends if you want a long timeline on your layers.
