Video disappearing
Jan 17, 2019
Hi
I am having an issue where a video disappears once it reaches the end of its 10 second duration on a layer. I've checked the slider settings and it is set as 'Play until end' and I've dragged the duration to 50 seconds to be sure there is enough time, but it continues to disappear after 10 seconds. I can't see anything in the video settings or the layer settings to help either.
Any suggestions? :)
If I need to send the storyline file it would have to be privately for protection of the IP.

Hi Rosie,
I'd be happy to lend a hand! This does sound odd, so I'd love to have a closer look at your file, with your permission.
You can send it to me privately by clicking here. Be sure to let me know which slide is causing you trouble. As soon as I'm done looking it over, I'll delete the file from my machine.
Thank you Alyssa I have now sent this over
Hi Rosie!
Thanks so much for your patience! I had a look at the "heart rate at rest" video layer, and I saw that the video went black at the end of the timeline.
This is because the last few frames of the video are black. You can easily fix this by trimming off those frames. Then, the final image in the video will remain on the layer until the learner closes the layer.
I sent you a video in our case to show you exactly how to achieve that. Let me know if you have any questions about it!
Thanks so much Alyssa! I will let you know if I have any questions :)
Hi Rosie,
Glad that Alyssa is helping you out. Just a quick heads up - It looks like your email signature came through when you replied via email. You can remove that if needed by clicking ‘Edit’ beneath your response. Here’s a quick Peek video if you need help.
Thank you Leslie I've now removed that :)
