Video files not in Media Library

I've accidentally had the video hiding on another layer or behind a text box in the past. When you right-click on the video on the timeline does it also not show the media library link?

Same problem when I click on the video files in timeline

Let me ask you a few questions to help you troubleshoot:

• If you go to View > Media Library and click the Video tab, do you see the videos listed there?
• Are you able to right-click other media and see the Show in Media Library option, or is that option not available at all?
• Are those videos coming from your computer or the Content Library?

Hi Maria,

No video is listed in the video tab in the media library.
The reference to the media library does not appear with the right click either.
Videos are screen recordings made with Storyline.

Screen recordings don't show up in the Media Library, so what you're experiencing is the expected behavior. We have a feature request logged to include other resources in Media Library, so I added this discussion to the report.

We will let you know if we have any news to share or if this request makes it to our feature roadmap.
