I'm working on testing & troubleshooting a course I recently finished, and I'm having an issue with a variable-controlled layer displaying correctly.
Does anyone know of an easy way to display variable values while previewing a course for testing purposes to help trace where things go awry?
This would be a great enhancement to the "Preview" functionality -- a separate pane that shows the value of a selected variable as you progress through the preview.
Thanks Wendy, that is helpful -- but it would be great if I didn't have to modify my slides -- I'm in late-stage testing and am reluctant to start adding/modifying the design.

I just add a text box to the slide/s where the variable is triggered to change and then add variable using insert > reference.
