Voice Changers
Sep 26, 2013
I have several different characters in my Storyline course, but I don't want to bug my coworkers to help me record (and re-record) the script.
I've used Audacity to change the pitch of my voice, but there are limited, realistic-sounding, options.
Is anyone using "voice changing" software to give your voice different tones and pitches that make it seem like more than one person has recorded the audio? If so, which ones are you using and what are the pros / cons of each.
Thanks!

Michael,
Give MorphVox a try.

Cheers,
Thanks Seth for sharing that for Michael.
Michael, welcome to Heroes! If you need anything else just let us know.
Thanks for the quick reply. Trying it out now.
And if nothing else works out, you can always use one of the free autotune apps to record your audio: http://articulate-community.s3.amazonaws.com/david/autotune-fire-safety/story_html5.html
Think: Rebecca Black meets corporate elearning.
David, that's great. I've been a big fan of melodysheep on youtube (here's an example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3FFgVayrWjs
What did you use to create yours?
Cheers,
Seth
Hello there,
Whilst great info, this thread is dated and technology changes so I thought I might put a 2021 request out there and along the same lines as the original thread.
In todays world what would be the best option for recommended "voice synthesisers" that will:
1) allow me to record my "annoyingly nasaly" voice into Articulate Storyline, however also
2) allow me to tweak the annoy nasal aspects out
3) not involve multiple steps - as in hopefully "hook it up, adjust the settings and record it into Storyline
Regards and thanks in advance
