When I cut and pasted a slide between projects I discovered a problem. A custom sized web object now renders wrong. It's misplace/aligned by 30-40 pixels on the x and y axis. I double checked the dimensions and pixels of both the web object and the slide itself. Everything is identical. But the web object does not render in the same spot in the player. I'm using Chrome.
It doesn't sound familiar to me, but I'd like to know if you run into the same issue when importing into a new Storyline project vs. copying/pasting a slide into your project. You'll want to check that the slide size is set as you'd need before importing.
Let me know if that changes the behavior at all! If not, I'd love to have our team take a look at your .story file and attempt publishing it ourselves to troubleshoot further. Are you able to share a copy of your file with us? If so, you can upload at this link using the Add Attachment button or you always have an option to share privately with our Support Engineers. Either way, we'll delete it when done testing.
