We know we want to make Storyline even more awesome and including more advanced animation options is part of that. But we really don't know how long at this point. Subscribe to Gabe's blog or just keep an ear to the forums for announcements regarding beta testing. That will be your best option for getting a feeling for when major updates are coming.
Where does this feature stand? Motion paths are practically becoming a necessity - otherwise I might have to use multiple tools (such as Swish and Flash) to create simple "movement" on my Storyline modules.
