When you do a screen recording and record text entries, the subsequent Try Mode slides are Free Format slides. I'm just curious as to the rationale behind this. I don't see the need to do this.
I'm not sure what you mean when you say 'Free Format' slides? Could you explain that or perhaps share a .story file so that I can see what you are asking about?
The try mode slides are questions, this is accomplished by turning them into freeform text entry questions this way the internal logic ranges the feedback.
If you don't want them to be questions, you could always use the "view mode" in step by step. Also, you could disable the correct messages or hover feedback when inserting in a screen recording following the steps here. If you already inserted it, you can always choose to re-insert a screen recording using the "record screen" drop down and pick the screen recording you'd like to use.
