I just did this, Brian. It did not install over SL2 but when/if you attempt to view any of your existing SL2 files it will upgrade the file to work on 360 BUT it creates a backup of the original so you don't lose it.
It looks like while 360 is installed it will open the files in 360 and create backups, so I misspoke in my initial response. It lets me open SL2 and can create a new project but if I attempt to open an existing file it wants to do it in 360. Hope this helps.
Storyline 360 and Storyline 2 use the same file type, but if you need to open a file in Storyline 2 you can open the program first and then browse for the files. As Michael mentioned we'll default to opening in the newest installed version.

Thanks Michael. So can you still open and edit files created in SL2 in SL2? Or will it automatically open and upgrade the file to 360?

Yes, that does, very much so. That answers my question.
Thanks Michael
