Is there a way to insert a text box that a user can write something in such as a Maintenance Request without having to use the Quiz function? In this particular case, what they write does not have to be exact.
2) I just want to have the lesson/video have an interaction to keep them engaged and get them thinking about scenarios in which they would need to write requests. It is not being loaded on an LMS. It will launched from a private server into a classroom as a demonstration or an exercise.

The answer will depend on which product you are using. Can you provide some additional detail?
1) which product?
2) what do you want to do with the response? Display it somewhere else? Send it somewhere? If so, how? (email? send to LMS?)
1) I am using Articulate 360 Storyline

The short answer is, YES, you can do this. Check out this thread on User Notes for more details and instructions.
