I'm currently researching some of the best off the shelf elearning courses out there. I've looked at Skillsoft, Rapid Course, and a few others but I was wondering if anyon has had any success within their own organizations. If so, what vendor did you select? We are hoping to bring in courses for management as well as basic stuff like soft skills and Microsoft courses.

We have used skillsoft. We have had very good experiences with their Microsoft types of courses. Some good feedback on the softer skills. The real issue we had with Skillsoft is the user interface. Not being able to deep link (which may be in a version we don't have) and having to spend a lot of time getting people into the courses was a real challenge. Many dismissed it just based on the catalog and search. If you get into the course they are quite good.
Our company uses Skillsoft and I absolutely love it. We have about 100 courses that covers our Microsoft and softskills training; Project Management Knowledge Center that provides everything we need for PMI certification and keeping our PM's skills up-to-date (we have about 400 PMs) and we also have the Skillsoft Leadership Advantage. Another benefit of Skillsoft is their IT and desktop videos that average about 5 minutes and are extremely popular.
@Sara - PM me and I might be able to help you with the deep link. It took us a while to figure it out, but it's working now. We also spent/spend a fair amount of time promoting and marketing to our 1500 users to constantly improve use of the eLearning courses.
I also create a number of custom courses and upload into SkillPort (LMS) and it works great.

Hey Lauryn,
Check out EJ4 - we have been using their courses for a few years and have been getting great feedback from our learners.

Hey Lauren,
Check out www.nkba.org. An association that is offering online courses also "outside" of the Association. Good stuff!
