i currently deciding between buying Camtasia and Adobe Creative cloud. The main purpose being for video recording/editing and photo editing. Any suggestions or recommendations?
Our team regularly uses both, the only problem we have with the adobe video editing suite (premiere pro) is that in comparison to Camtasia, importing SRT files for subtitles is very frustrating and we're never fully satisfied with the end result. That being said if you had to choose between the two I'd still go with Adobe CC, After Effects is a phenomenal tool when used in conjunction with Prem.
Agree with Darren, I have never tried using Premier Pro for SRT files. I've just used it for video compilation, editing, colour correction etc and used After Effects for for the pizzazz.

I have both. I use Camtasia for video recording and Adobe for everything else.

Hope this helps, Darren
