Course setup and flow

Hi all, First off..I still need to say I am cutting my teeth with Articulate and e-learning in general so all help is very much appreciated and please excuse me if have a hard time getting my questions down on paper the first time around.

I have a main slide with 14 separate modules (scenes?) (attached). My predicament is how do I test the learners and ensure they complete all the modules..  

Two thoughts on this;

1. Test at end of each modules and don't allow them to open the next one until they have passed the current one.
2. Final test after learner has gone through all 14 modules. (may be overwhelming)

A couple main challenges I am seeing;

1. How do I set up the main slide to ensure they go through the modules in order and not move on until they achieve pass on each. Can I set up buttons to only become live only when they click on last slide of current module or complete a quiz at the end of each.. My concern is that the learner doesn't complete all the modules and tests which is required for certification.
2. Or..could I have a final test button become live on the main slide only after all modules have been looked at?

Are there any tutorials that would help with this or has anyone set up a course like this and would like to share experiences or ideas..
