Okay, so here's what I'm trying to do: Right now I have an object timed to move on motion path 1 from Point A to Point B at three seconds. I want the object to then move from Point B to Point C at six seconds without the learner having to do anything. Finally to disappear from Point C (fade out) at 9 seconds while it reappears at Point B and moves to Point D at 9 seconds , once again without the learner having to do anything. Yes, a lot going on, and I'm certain this has something to do with relative start points, but I haven't yet been able to figure it out.
Lining up the motion paths is pretty straightforward, but the challenge here is that you can only have one entrance animation and one exit animation per object.
For this scenario I'd suggest using multiple objects for each time you desire a fade out, and adjusting the timeline to compensate for when the objects should show up.
See the attached example, based on your timing requirements.
