I'm developing an accompanying participant guide (composition in Word) for an eLearning I developed in SL2. The content will closely align, but of course the Word output from SL is not acceptable (ie mere images of slides and layers). So while I could pain-stakingly copy text from text boxes and paste into Word, I was hoping I could export content to a text or word file. Not possible? Suggestions?
Hi Chris! Have you tried the option to export for translation? Go to File » Translation » Export.
It might give you more than you need but it might get you close to what you need? You'll probably want to delete the entire left/first column. There are styles in the Word doc that might help you work with the text too.
Hey Mike, great tip, thanks! Looks like you get Word output with most all the text - it's somewhat clunky but seems to better facilitate the game of copy/paste than clicking around within the story file to copy text.
