Sij, the two variations of the clock (one that is 'broken', the other one works) were added as web objects. The clock itself I built when I first got started with Storyline, here is a short writeup about it. Besides the built-in quiz timer, you can also create your own, here is just a thread that provides some info.

There is a pause every 14 seconds or so (not that I counted )

Michael, how did you add that clock? Also, does anyone know how to do a five or ten second timer on a pop quiz slide?
