Hi everybody,
I attended an Articulate workshop this past weekend in LA and met Tom & David. David encouraged me to jump into the forums and just say hi to everybody, so that's what I'm doing.
I discovered that I can't consider myself a novice anymore. I've used Articulate for about a year now. And thanks to the community (forums, blogs, & tutorials) I know a lot more than I realized. So now it's my turn to start contributing. I plan to participate in the community more from now on.

Welcome aboard!
Great to have you here, Holly! What sorts of courses are you building? What are some of your go-to features in Articulate Studio?
Hi Holly! Great to see you here. Hope you enjoyed the workshop last week. I know you were looking for some feedback on some of your projects. Please share what you can, when you can
Hey Holly. Great to see you. David & Tom are great people. And, welllll Jeanette too . Its a great place to share. Welcome!
Welcome to the community
Thanks for the warm welcome everybody.
@Jeannette: I've had the opportunity to design all sorts of courses for various departments in our company: introducting new products and services to Sales and Customer Care; compliance (HIPAA, CPNI, PCI) for corporate employees, behavioral interviewing for hiring managers; software training for IT; and how to navigate web-based services for new hires.
One of my favorite parts about Articulate is incorporating animation throughout the course, not just for the sake of animation, but so that the finished product flows like a movie. Discovering the "slide view" for Quizmaker and Engage was also a big deal for me. I do my own narration so I'm also a big fan of the audio editor. This is really handy when I get edits from SME's and managers post-production who want me to add a sentence (or just a word) in the middle of a slide's narration.
I'm looking forward to sharing some of my work once I can scrub out company info and reduce the courses from 30 minutes to about 5.
Hi Holly,
I'm pretty new here too - I've been involved in e-Learning for years but have been using Articulate for only 5 months. I love it though! And these forums are brilliant - I almost always find what I'm looking for - an answer to something I can't figure out, or just some good old inspiration.
Cheers,
Sarah.
Wow Holly, you've done some neat projects! And yeah, I agree about slide view. Very cool that you do your own narration too. It's pretty amazing what one person can accomplish with all the tools available.
@Sarah - hey there! Glad you're here and that you're finding the community helpful!
Welcome Holly!
