I was recently asked about a light bulb animation that flashes and I took one that @Rebecca Fleisch Cordeiro put together and enhanced it with a light switch animation in SL2. I dropped the file here and there's also a screencast below so you can see it in action folks.
I like it! My only thought is, is it necessary to even use the slider? I think if we use a trigger for the the state of the light switch to change when the user clicks on the light switch alone (even if they do slide up when they click) would work just the same. Thoughts?
That's a great thought Joseph, the only barrier in my experience is that you can't add multiple triggers to the same image and have it work. Remember that with the slider I can change states on both images from On to Off. If you add a transparent button on top of the image, that would work. I used the slider because it's a more realistic approach. However, let me know if you can share your method for there are always 2 or 3 different ways to do things in SL2.

Thanks so much! This is really neat!
Alexander, I'm having a problem. It works fine in one SL project, but not the other. What am I missing?
I replied on your original post. It has to do with the "On" layer which needs to be set to show when Slider1 is in position 2.
