"Object dragged over" question

I posted this question on the Storyline forum but I no one replied so I thought I would try over here.
I am building a course on using fire extinguishers. I am trying to have an interaction that has the spray of the fire extinguisher trigger the fire to be hidden. I'm using the "Object dragged over" trigger to cause the fire to be hidden. What happens though is that any part of the fire extinguisher will trigger the fire to be hidden.
I also tried to create the spray separately and then group that with the fire extinguisher but that didn't work either.
Does anyone have an idea, or hints on how to create this interaction?

Take a look at this thread, especially the 2nd screenr. In this one, Charles avoided the e extinguisher/spray problem by changing the perspective on the slide.

You might also reach out to Jerson Campos who put together something like what you are describing.
I've been experimenting with what you want and haven't gotten it to work, but I think it is possible. The examples above are simpler alternatives that will probably save you time and hassle.
If you use the example from Meryem, you could change the extinguisher's orientation and make a state change so that they don't actually end up putting the extinguisher on the fire, but rather, it shoots out a spray.
The easiest way to do it is to place an object where the extinguisher will be that will place the spray over the fire. This way when the user drags it over that placement object it will look like the spray is hitting the fire.
Thank you! I like the idea of changing the perspective. I'm going to try and finish up the interaction tomorrow.
