Powerpoint-Articulate issue

Nov 15, 2011

Hello,

I recently started making a PowerPoint Presentation and decided to use Articulate on some of the slides. The only issue is when viewing it in PowerPoint all my animations turn out exactly how I wanted them to but the Engage interaction does not work and when viewing through Articulate my animations come in at a headache speed and I'm not sure how to make it work so I can use Articulate and have my animations the way I would like them.  Any suggestions?

Thank you!!!

Sounds like you're having two distinct issues: difficulty with 1) Engage interaction and 2) super fast animations.

1) I don't believe that Engages will "play" when you attempt to view them in Powerpoint.  They should work if you use "Preview" in the Articulate ribbon.

2) Are your animations all set to "on click" ?  Because Articulate sets those to a default pace when publishing.

Not sure what you mean by "use Articulate on some of the slides", but with patience and the help of the forum superstars, I'm sure that you'll get this working!

By using Articulate on some slides I meant that I have been using ppt then decided to place a slide with engage/quizmaker. I just started working with Articulate so I'm still learning all the in's and out's. As far as the animations they are set to go "after the previous or with the previous" I don't think that any of them are "on click" even when I set the speed to the slowest rate it still flys in at a horrible speed when I'm previewing my slides.

Thank you for your help!
