Does anyone have a checklist/process for how to migrate a course from one corporate presentation template to another? We just had a major revamp of our templates and I am trying to figure out the least painful way to move our content from one template to another.
Hi Will. The easiest way would be to copy over the slides and apply the new master slide layout to each slide. Depending on how the old and new PPT decks were set up, that should account for most of the design elements that will have changed in the new template (fonts, colors, etc.). However, in my experience, there's always going to be some manual manipulation to make it look right.
Hey Will. I think Tim's suggestion for applying the new slide master layout is solid. I also thought maybe you could adapt this general course QA checklist. This entire checklist is probably overkill, but the functional items here could be a decent starting point for creating your own checklist of sorts.

Thanks Tim! This is what I'm doing now and it is working out well.
Thank you Trina! The course QA checklist is excellent! I hadn't seen it before so I appreciate you pointing me to it.
