My team is researching video editing tools. We are looking to cut, trim or combine video files and publish to mp4 file type
We have used After Effects, while it is nice it can be too much for doing simple edits. Articulate Replay is nice but I always have audio issues with it.
Hey Rob. You mentioned Articulate Rise for editing video. Did you mean Replay, as Rise isn't a video editor? Have you tried opening up a support case for the audio problems you're experiencing?
Might be overkill but I am liking DaVinci Resolve. Free version is really capable. Best color correction tools I've found and a good editing toolset. I miss aftereffects but couldn't justify the subscription.
Camtasia is a good suggestion too. Good all around and simple enough to use.

You may want to look at something like Camtasia.

Hey Rob you can also try out VSDC Free Video Editor, it is very convenient and user friendly. Quick and easy to edit videos.
Hi Rob, my go-to tool for quick edits is Wondershare Filmora, if I'm wanting something a little more snazzy then I use Camtasia.
Thank you David, that is one of the software's that caught our eye.
Thanks Steve, I have heard of DaVinci but never really looked into it, guess I will now.
Thanks Katlego, never heard of this, will have to research it.
Hi Kim, this is another package I never heard of. Thanks for pointing it out.
