Video in Storyline 360 ending and replaying
Jan 15, 2020
I am working in 360 and I have a video embedded into several slides. (We have a large 20 minute instructional video that I had to break down into 5 smaller videos and place on 5 slides because our LMS won't bookmark if it's 1 video one 1 slide, but that's beside the point :)
On my video slides, I have it set up for the user to click Next to move forward after the video ends. However, if the user clicks the slide, itself, where the video is, the video replays over. I don't want this to happen, if they want to replay, they can play the replay button in the skin. Is there a setting somewhere that prevents the video from replaying again when the user clicks the video in the slide that I'm missing? (I have all video controls hidden and the video plays automatically in the slide.) TIA!

Place a hotspot over the video and that prevents the user from clicking on the video.
What Tom said. Though what you use doesn't have to be a hotspot. You could also place a transparent rectangle over the video. That'll block the clickability of the video.
Ha! That's exactly what I did, but wondered if there was a better fix than this. Thanks for the quick replies!
