Articulate Studio '09 did not include an HTML5 component - so on the day in 2020 that Adobe ends support for Flash, they would still work if the user was viewing the course in a browser that had flash enabled.
The end of Flash support doesn't mean that Flash stops working that day - just that Adobe will no longer offer updates or fixes for it.
We've invested heavily in HTML5 and you'll find that Storyline 3 and Articulate 360 have the HTML5 first or HTML5 only publishing options. You can read a bit more about our shift towards HTML5 here.
