Is it possible to have a large database of questions for a quiz so that you can randomize questions and not get repeats as often? (i.e. 10 question quiz pulling randomly from a 50 question test bank?) - in Rise 360
Hi Eric! Thanks for checking in on the Quiz Question Banks feature. We don't have a specific date for this yet, but we will definitely update this thread once we make any changes that will help!
I see this question bank feature is in development on your latest roadmap. Please could you give me an approximate timescale for this to be complete. This would be a great function and hope it is available soon
Hi Philippa! Thanks for your interest in this feature! We don't have an approximate timeframe but we'll make sure we will update the roadmap as well as this thread once this feature is available.
Thanks Phil! I'm sorry we missed the update here... but Rise 360 now has a question banks feature in beta for you to try out!
Create randomized quizzes by drawing from a bank of prepared questions. You have the flexibility to use question banks for knowledge check blocks or quizzes—giving you options for how and when you want to check or test a learner’s knowledge. And if you’re an Articulate 360 Teams subscriber, you can easily share question bank folders with other team members to ensure consistency across your organization’s courses.
Find out more about creating, managing, and using question banks in our Rise 360 User Guide. Enjoy!
In my subscription, I don't have the ability to select the number of random questions to pull from the question bank or select specific questions. Is there a way to fix this at all?
I have the same issue as Nerida. In my Question Bank, I don't have the drop-down menu that allows you to choose the number of questions. I only have the option to choose randomized or specific questions.

Hi Steve,
Currently Rise does not have the ability to create a random question bank, but it is under development.
Please see the following post:

According the link above, this feature is currently in development. Does anyone know when it might be available?

Hi,
I don't work for Articulate, so I can't help you with a date when this will be available.

Is there any update on timeframe for this feature?
I would also like to know if there is an update on this. Thank you.
Hi folks! Keep your eye out for question banks in Rise 360 coming this year!
That's great! What time this year...LOL ;-) So many threads tied to this feature request over the last few years.
Hi has there been any update to having this randomiser featured in Rise? Would be really useful for a current project. Thank you.
Question banks are in Rise now

Hi Nerida,
Thanks for reaching out and I'm sorry to hear that you've hit this snag when using question banks!
First, I'd like to learn what steps you've taken to get to this screen, so I can better understand the issue. Here's a quick demo of the steps I took:
If you select the dropdown arrow next to Random questions, do you see Specific questions?
Hi, Kelly,
I have the same issue as Nerida. In my Question Bank, I don't have the drop-down menu that allows you to choose the number of questions. I only have the option to choose randomized or specific questions.
Any thoughts?
Hi Michelle,
If you are using a Knowledge Check block, you are limited to a single question draw.
If you are using a Quiz, you can draw multiple questions.
