Fill in Blank capability in Rise
Sep 27, 2017
Hello,
I'm designing a Rise file for a group of employees who do not have their own computers. The training needs to be trackable, except they will be completing it on a shared desktop computer via a URL link.
My solution for tracking is to put a certificate of completion graphic at the end of the course that they can print and give to management for recording. But, I would like the user to be able to type his/her name on the certificate. Are there any fill-in-blank options...OR any other ways of achieving my goals that I may be missing? Thanks in advance.

Hey Shannon!
Great question and one that your colleagues have shared in the past.
Certificates/Course completion ceremony is something we have on the roadmap, but the ETA is not set. Articulate 360 subscribers will get the update as soon as it's released.
In the meantime, I'll defer to the community for any creative ideas they may have :)
Hi Shannon,
Rise doesn't yet have a fill in the blank/text entry question type - but it sounds like a good one to consider!
In the meantime, what if you uploaded your Rise course to Articulate review.
Let me know if that works for you!
Thanks! So glad to hear certificates are on the roadmap - a feature I think many would appreciate!
This particular population does not have email addresses assigned to them either. Tracking is definitely a challenge! I will consider the Articulate Review option though. Thank you!
Is there any update on the fill-in-the-blank option in Rise to this point?
Thanks!!

Hi Chyna,
I do not have an update to provide on that feature, but additional question types is something that is on the radar for us.
I'm attaching this thread to the report as we track these user requests and so that we can pop in and update you when we can as well.
Is there any updated on certificates of achievement?
Hi Lowri,
Thanks for checking in. This is something our team is still keeping an eye on, but have yet to add to Rise.
We'll let you know here if we do add it!
+1
Hi Karin,
There's still no update here, but thanks for letting us know this is something you'd be interested in as well.
