I was given a .zip file from a co-worker to change the text of "Start Course" to "Start". Inspecting the element and changing it within the browser worked, but when I checked the index file, nothing relating to what I saw in the browser was there. They are asking me to see if anybody can help us in changing the title of the "Course Start" button. Basically, we just want it to say "Start". I checked all the files, php, css, etc. Couldn't find it.
Hi Gertrude - we are working on a new feature that will let you change all the labels in the course. Hopefully next month but realistically January it will be available.
In the meantime someone in the community might have some ideas how you can hack the output in real time using jquery.
Happy to announce that you can now customize the default text labels in Rise. This gives you the ability to make built-in course elements, such as buttons and lesson headers, say what you want them to say.
Brian has started a great discussion here if you'd like to check it out and you can find our support documentation here.

That's currently not an option.

Hello Gertrude!

As always, we keep our Rise Version History up to date too.
