How to ensure a learner has viewed all elements in a blocks course for a compliance course.

Hi all,

I am currently building a course based on compliance using Rise Blocks. How do I ensure all content, which will include policies, are viewed by the user in order to receive a 100% completion. Continue elements have been included to stop forward seeking but I'm seeking to ensure all interactive accordion and tabs etc are viewed.

    Hi Nova

There's two parts to answering your question.

I guess, as you have said, you will need to include the Continue block - change the settings to complete block directly above. That will ensure they have clicked the accordion (or any other block type you choose to include).

It's the old saying of You can lead a horse to water ... and if what you want to check is that they understand the content, as opposed to clicking a + icon on an accordion, is to include a knowledge check quiz as one of the Block items. Whether they know this from viewing the information you have added, or know it already, doesn't matter. You can then also add a quiz at the end and set a relevant passing score.

  • Hi, when a learner opens an Articulate Rise course from our LMS, is there any internal course method to ensure the learner has opened and "touched" all the lessons in the course (we have not inserted any Storyline blocks in the course)?
