I have received back some (.xlf) translation files (in Greek), and am now trying to import them to Rise, but it's not working. It's perpetually loading. Why might this be happening?
Thanks for reaching out to us and also opening a case. I see my teammate, Rowie, recently sent you some troubleshooting steps. Please give those steps a try and let us know if you're still getting stuck!
Hi there, Craig. Can you double-check that you've exported your XLF file from the same course that you're going to import it into? In other words, make a duplicate for each language version, and export the XLF from each of the duplicates. The XLF will only import back into the course from where it came.
If that's what you did, let us know, and we'll have a closer look!
We're happy to lend a hand. Please click here to get a case started, attach your XLIFF file, and share details of the issue you're seeing. We'll help you to sort this out!
My issue was that the Rise file had been edited after the XLF file was exported, so it was slightly different. I didn't know that would prevent the file being re-imported. Hope that helps.
