Managing and maintaining large numbers of Rise Courses

Oct 11, 2023

I work for a large company which has begun to use Rise 360 significantly in the last 2 years. That has created an account with over 220 original courses (and growing).

I'm very interested in others who manage very large and active libraries of Rise courses and how you manage maintenance.

  • Rise doesn't do versioning or back-ups, so how do you handle this?
  • Do you work from the master or always make a copy to work from?
  • If copying, how many copies do you keep before deleting? Or do you keep everything?
  • Do you version copied courses in a particular way?

I anticipate a rats nest unless we get this under control! Any best practices shared would be appreciated! I wish Rise 360 offered more ways to organize courses. Folders don't appear to be very helpful for an entire company...just personal use/views.

Hi Michael, I just noticed your post after posting a very similar discussion myself. See here: https://community.articulate.com/discussions/rise-360/how-do-people-tag-or-archive-rise-courses

I see you haven't had any replies yet. Let's hope someone would shed some light on this. We are in the same situation as you are.
