Are there options for using Mathtype or an equation builder within Rise? If we embedded a PDF with equations, would it meet accessible standards in Rise? If not, could we build items in SL using Mathtype and import into Rise but still meet screen reader capabilities? Thank you
We have a feature request for a mathematical equation editor in Rise, and I've added you to the list. We'll let you know here if we have updates regarding this feature.
For now, you can try adding mathematical equations in Rise by creating an image of your equation and adding it as an image block in Rise. I hope this helps!

I would like to be added to this update list as well. Mathtype would be a very useful feature in Rise!
I too need it very much. I have been using Rise for almost two years now. And the only thing I can do is to use images for equations.
