I'm realizing a piece of content fits better in a different section of my course outline. Is there a way to move a block of content into another section, and not just within the current chapter it's in?
I'm not too interested in making it a template and reusing it multiple times. I'm more after just being able to quickly reorganize content between sections.
The only way to move content back and forth between lessons is through making a template.
I tend to name my one-time-use templates something short and meaningless so that if I forget to delete it once I move the content over, I'll easily be able to tell that it can be deleted the next time I open the template list.
Lame. Why isn't there an outline of lessons and content you can just move stuff around? The template workaround is not useful, meaning I'll have to rebuild that content in the other lessons which is a sad waste of time.
Just here to +1 Andrew & Mike's request and Feature suggestion. It seems a little odd that in Rise you can't grab a block and use a "Copy to" or "Move to" feature to move content from one section to another. I've worked with several LMSs that do this - would love to see this in Rise (instead of rebuilding everything just because a couple blocks of content fit in a better section).

Andrew, I support what Holly suggests. Using Templates is the only way to do what you are asking for.
I use templates all the time and then delete the template when I'm done.
Thanks to Holley and Karl for chiming in here! For more details on block templates, check out this article.
Life. Saver. Thank you.

Hi Mike,
Using Block Templates allows you to make a copy of any number of blocks, and then insert them in any other Rise lesson.
Block Templates are both quick and easy to use.
