Moving Rise Start button from top of page to different location

Jan 05, 2024

Hi

Is it possible to move the Start button for a Rise course to the end of 'Describe your course content....' text?

There is text relating to accessibility and videos that users need to read before they start the course. At the moment, users can go straight to the start button before reading the text.

Thanks.

Hi Dorothy!

I'm happy to share that our development team is tracking a feature request to give authors the ability to move the Start button to after the course description in Rise! I've linked this discussion to the feature report so you can be notified as soon as we have updates to share.

In the meantime, as a workaround, could you remove the introductory text from the main menu page, add a new lesson to the beginning of your course called "Introduction," and put the text related to Accessibility there?

That way, you can ensure the learner sees the content before starting the lesson.

Hi, Eric!

Thanks for reaching out about this. If you remove the introductory text as Steven suggested, learners will still see the main menu when viewing the course. These two screenshots below will give you an idea of what this will look like.
