I'm excited to let you know that you can now add Content Library photos and illustrations to your Rise lessons. You can search Content Library right from within Rise and add images with one click.
Oh this is exciting, what a great addition! I'm excited to see how you integrate icons / illustrations and allow us to customise them in Rise like you can in Storyline.
We've been patiently waiting for this feature to be integrated and now that it is... wow... it's the best thing since sliced bread. The wait was totally worth it. Thank you!!!
I'm very excited about this new feature, but I'm also wondering: is it also possible to import the characters from the content library we use in Storyline? You know, the photo's of the characters in various positions with various expressions? Is that elaborate library also available? That will be a great help.
The content library search is available for Block and lesson types where you can add an image - and we're working on a labelled graphic block type for later this year (currently scheduled for Q3 '17)! So we'll keep you posted on that.
Thanks for this, and for taking the time to record that screencast!
Notwithstanding how delighted I am by the general integration of content library media everywhere else, it would be handy if the main labelled graphics could be sourced from content library too.
For context - I'm building an interaction where learners can explore how substance abuse affects different areas of the brain, so all I need is a nice, high-def image of a head to host the markers in vaguely anatomically accurate positions (ie, over the frontal cortex, over the hippocampus etc). It's not a huge hassle to find one elsewhere that meets my needs - but would be nice if I could use content library for that too.
Again, thanks for this, and for the frequent updates to Rise!
Great question! The search pulls a subset of the Content Library images for the cover photo - those that you're seeing are the best optimized for cover photo use. We'll look at adding the other photos!

Will videos from Content Library be added too?

Fantastic! Are there plans to add in alt text to images?
Yes, alt text is going to be added for all images. No public timeframe yet but we're actively working on it.
So excited for this!!
The lack of Alt text remains a road block for our institution to use the product. Hoping that this is implemented soon.
This is wonderful. Thank you!
Nice! Really nice...
Makes the workflow a lot more fluid!
Thanks!
yay! This is great.

Hi Stella,
We're still working on including characters and icons from Content Library too - so those will be released once they are ready!
Gamechanger...
This is absolutely marvellous - going to save me so much time from mucking around with open source image libraries hosted by third parties.
Will this integration apply to labelled graphics as well? I can't seem to search the content library to 'change image' on them.

Love it; will content library be available for the cover photo?
