I see several threads about SL screens in Rise requiring a play icon when run on mobile devices. As far as I can see in the threads, that's the case when there is audio or video in the SL screen.
I'm getting it even on a static screen, one with text only. Is that also expected, ie users have to 'play' to see the screen?
Learners using a mobile device will see a play button on top of any Storyline block. This is expected behavior for mobile viewing. Tapping the play button will initiate the Storyline block to play in the mobile browser.
You may add a cover photo (such as the First Slide) which will appear under the Play button when you view the Storyline content on a mobile device, including in Storyline Blocks. Here is a sample Rise course with an SL Block with a cover photo.
