I know this is an old topic but if I leave the captions without text, a weird space for the caption stills stays there. It would be nice to be able to remove that space.
I'm sorry you're finding that the spacing is not quite right when you leave off the captions. Have you tried adjusting the padding of the block? Here's a short video that shows you how to do that.
Just wondering if there is any way to remove the text box that comes up when you hover over a picture, if you add text in the caption section onto a carousel block? I want the text underneath but not to pop up when you hover over the picture.
Ah yes, I see what you mean now. It only happens to me if I hover over the image for a longer period of time. Unfortunately, there's no way to get rid of that right now.

Hi Lindsay,
What lesson type or block are you working with in Rise? Could you share a screenshot of the area causing you trouble?
Hi Lindsay - Usually you can just ignore the captions if you don't want to use them. See this:

Hi Ash,
I'm not seeing any text when I hover over the picture, even when I have a caption. Can you share a screenshot of what you're seeing?
It happens whenever I hover over it.
