We've started using GIFs in our Rise courses. For now we've put them into flipcards.
It seems that GIFs are not compressed when added to a course. Is there any guidance as to the ideal or maximum dimensions and file sizes for GIFs please?
this previous post may help you. When you access the link there are some related topics on the right-hand side of the screen that may have more information.
Hi Mark! To add a couple of thoughts, the media file size limit of 5GB applies.
Also, certain blocks will have different container sizes for your GIF. Flashcards, for example, like a 1:1 ratio. You'll want to keep this in mind and use the responsive preview of your course to make sure your GIFs look great!
