Rise 360 is just a course development app. Training developed in Rise 360 must be exported to a learning management system (LMS) for viewing, tracking, and analytics.
Rise.com is an all-in-one online training system that gives you one place to create, track, manage, and analyze your training. Rise.com includes all the authoring functionality from Rise 360, plus a library of pre-built lessons on common business topics and sample courses. Once you’ve created a course, you can enroll learners, track their progress, and analyze training effectiveness—all within Rise.com. You can even allow learners to browse and self-enroll in training you make available in Rise.com.
In short, Rise 360 lets you create courses only. Rise.com lets you create, distribute, track, and analyze courses.
If you have more questions about which product is right for you, reach out to the team at sales@rise.com!
I think an important distinction is about the publishing options. Rise.com does not let you export out of the training system where Rise 360 allows you to create and publish (export) for any LMS.
Hi Nancy! The Rise Sales team is ready to answer all your questions! Simply go to Rise.com and click on the orange chat button in the lower-right corner. You'll get the help you need right away!
Hi Debra! The team would love to talk to you more about what's possible in Rise.com! If you're interested, you can reach out anytime at Sales@Rise.com.
Beware! If you have a team of people, and you ask them to create an Articulate 360 account to build Rise courses, they might mistakenly create an account with Rise.com SINCE THEY SHARE ALMOST THE SAME NAME.
And then, when you want to share/export your course with your Articulate 360 team, you can't! The courses need to be recreated in Rise 360. This is so frustrating!!
My organization is interested in creating courses using Rise only and export it to our local LMS. As a start we are planning this for 30 to 50 users. Is there is a way to acquire licenses for Rise only, excluding the other Articulate 360 components? Rise features are quit enough for us. Why should we pay for the whole package? Are there any available options?
Thanks for reaching out! Rise 360 is part of the Articulate 360 suite of products and can't be purchased separately.

I think the way that they're looking at this is...that if you only need Rise360, then, hey!...you got the rest for free. Bottom line, you can bet that getting to your end game is going to cost you a comparable amount of money.

Hello Phil! Rise.com is an all-in-one system, and the training you create is hosted and tracked right in Rise.com.
We'd love to talk more about your colleague's needs, though. Can you ask them to start a chat by clicking on the chat icon right in their Rise team? Thanks!
Why Articulate chose to brand their lmS service with a similar name as Rise 360 is beyond me. I have seen this create confusion amongst users since it launched. You'd think they would name the products to be more intuitive to the end users.
No point, we have had word from support that there is no way of copying or exporting from the RISE LMS version to the Rise Articualte Version. in a normal day to day thats fine as we do not use rise LMS, the issue arose due to it not being clearly sign posted that if you start creating a RSIE LMS course you can't do anthing with but host it in the RISE LMS and the fact that the free trial link for the RISE LMS is on the RISE 360 promo page.

Hi Mary, Rise 360 is a cloud based content creation tool and Rise.com is a training delivery system. I agree, confusing.
In addition to what Sam said, a Rise 360 subscription also includes several PC based development apps such as Storyline.
Rise.com gets you the Articulate Rise LMS plus the Rise 360 course development app.
Great question, Mary!

Does the Rise.com system allow you to import storyline? Does it have any social learning features? Shared content libraries for learners?

From what I experienced...I did not see an option to import SL.

Hi Harry - Just a correction: You can import Storyline and other 3rd party SCORM output into Rise.com.
If anyone has questions about Rise.com, feel free to check out the site, start a trial, and reach out to the team by chatting right in Rise.com!
I stand corrected on this. The problem is with the export.
Can Rise.com be integrated with other systems and content (for example, Outlook, Teams, YouTube, and so on)?

I can feel your frustration as the question required a yes or no answer.
Can you export a course from Rise 360 in MP4 format?
