Rise progress not saving correctly

Hi all,
We have an issue with our Rise360 courses where the progress circles are not being retained after a student exits the eLearning. I have tried it myself, and whilst it does appear to remember where you left off, the completion circles above all or mostly appear to show as uncompleted again (as per attached screen shot).
We use a Moodle LMS, and have completion tracking set to "complete/incomplete" with the LMS completion set to "mark complete manually".
Edit: It turns out that it records fine up until about 30-40% of the way through, then it just stops recording properly
Any help or insight would be gratefully received!

Hi Kylie,
I am sorry to hear about the completion progress. What standard and edition are you publishing your course with? I suspect that this might be something with the suspend data limits.
Can you try publishing your course with either SCORM 2004 3rd edition, SCORM 2004 4th edition, or xAPI (Tin Can) and see if the issue persists?
Hi Chino,
That has worked! Thank you for the advice, we never thought of trying that! It has fixed the issue perfectly!
Glad I could help.
Have fun in Rise 360!
Hi, I have a question regarding the question above.
When I use the share link for a course, can the progress be saved after the user exits and returns?
Thank you in advance!
Liri
Hi, Liri! Are you sharing your course using the preview link? When your course is viewed using this link, the progress cannot be saved after the user exits, and they will have to start over. I hope this helps!
Hi, thanks for your answer!
So, what are my options if I want to share as a link and save the progress?
Thank you
Liri
Hi Liri,
When you use the Share link for a course, student progress cannot be saved after the user exits and returns.
Hi, yes, I understood that, I'm asking if there's an option for another link that will save the progress if I will attach it.
Thanks!
Hello - We are having the same issue as originally reported. We use Totara as our LMS and I published a SCORM using SCORM 2004 4th edition. I have tested the Rise 360 SCORM in our LMS gradually over the course of a few days. I completed a module or two at a time. Rise seemed to retain the progress up until I completed all of the pages in the SCORM. Yesterday, when I completed it, all circles in Rise were filled with checkmarks, and when I exited the SCORM, the LMS recorded the SCORM has having been completed. Today, the LMS is still registering the SCORM as completed. But, when I relaunch the SCORM from the LMS. all the circles are blank and it has started me at the beginning again.
We've tried various ways to troubleshoot this and aren't coming up with any solutions. Any advice?
Hi Robin,
What you are describing is referred to as LMS Review mode.
It's a setting in your LMS that lets the course function normally during initial course access, but once the course has been completed, it causes the course to behave exactly like you have described.
Thanks, Karl - Can you tell me a bit more about this mode? We haven't made any changes in our LMS and previous authoring tools we have used work fine. We have only encountered this issue when using SCORMS built with Rise.
I've looked over all the settings I can find and can't find anything resembling "LMS Review Mode." Any idea where that would be?
