Get to know the ADDIE instructional design model with this simple e-learning module created in Articulate Storyline 360.
This mini-course makes use of layers, animations, hyperlinks, and a short quiz to test your knowledge. You can also grab the course file as a download to re-use and edit the slides.
Storyboard and Prototype are the same ??
I think that a well developed Storyboard, whether it is on paper or an electronic document, can be tested to make sure it all works before any development is done.
Checking that all the navigation works before it is developed saves time in the long run.
The Prototype can be a quick and dirty first version of a few slides to let the client know what they are getting. can also save time in the development process.
Hey Ross! Thanks for leaving your feedback here, much appreciated. I do agree that Storyboard and Prototype are 2 different things. In fact, here's an article I wrote some years ago about the differences between the two: https://community.articulate.com/articles/e-learning-storyboard-vs-prototype
I do think they both serve a good purpose and it just depends on the project! In certain cases a functional prototype may be warranted, in some cases not. :) Everything is negotiable! haha
Hi Nicole, thank you so much for your time creating such a nice SL presentation and sharing with us.
I have been looking for a nice template for sometime and this is it.
Do you have anymore? :)
Thank you again...
Hi Allen! This one is not available for download but you'll find many other templates and free downloads for Storyline that I've created here: https://community.articulate.com/downloads/templates/storyline Hope this helps :)
Nicole (or anyone else who might know...) - I was wondering what the rationale was for putting the menu buttons on the Slide Master. I realize you created this a couple years ago. Would you do it the same way today with the functionality currently in Storyline 360? Also wondering why you have two different slides in the Slide Master with the menu options. I would really appreciate your feedback as I really liked the way this module flowed and am trying to model my module after it.
Dang, this is exactly what I'm wondering here in 2021! haha. Just curious as to why Nicole chose to have it separated in the master slide.
Did you figure it out Therese?
