I have several text links that launch a URL in a new window. Because it's a glossary, I have used the browser options to set the size to 800x600. Unfortunately, the new window does not have a scrollbar, so people can't explore the glossary once they open it.
Are you viewing this in a particular browser to see the behavior, or are you able to replicate it across multiple browsers? Also, what settings did you include for how the URL should launch (such as default controls or full screen)?
Thanks for confirming your set up - it seems to match an issue that has recently been reported to our Quality Assurance team where the browser properties misbehave in IE and Firefox. The current workaround is to use "Default" for window size, instead of "custom" or "full screen". I tested this with a sample file, and once I made that change I was able to access the browser controls such as the scroll bar within IE.
I'll also add this thread to the existing report with our QA team so that when I have additional information to share I'll be able to post here.
Thanks Ashley - Do you have a timeline for when this might be fixed? I don't like the behaviour of the 'default' window size; because of the content of the new window it needs to be smaller.
Unfortunately I don't have a time frame to offer in regards to when our QA team will share additional information or be able to release an update with a fix. I've added this thread to the report filed with our QA team so that I'll be able to share any updates here when available. You can also stay up to date by following Articulate on Facebook,Twitter and subscribing to our Word of Mouth Blog.
Can you tell me if this bug has been fixed in the most recent update? I'm in the middle of a release, and I don't want to update right away unless this has been fixed.

Hi Ashley,
I have set up the following options:
With these settings, I get a scrollbar in Chrome, but not in IE or Firefox. (that's all I've tested. I'm using windows 8)
I also cannot resize the new browser window in IE, though I can resize it in Chrome and Firefox.
Thanks

In case it hasn't been fixed, there is a javascript workaround here:
