Great to see a mention for Dribbble which I've found to be a great starting point for generating themes, ideas, styles and colour palettes at the start of a project.
Funnily enough I came across something recently that ties together most of those sources of inspiration and Joanna's recent Amsterdam trip in a single app: http://www.annefrank.org/en/News/News/2012/May/App-Anne-Franks-Amsterdam/
Anne's Amsterdam effectively turns the whole city into a gamified interactive exhibition about Anne Frank's life, the holocaust and the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands. Think Pokemon Go meets The Diary of a Young Girl (I promise it's not as tasteless as that sounds).
