Are people recording in their office setting? It is impossible to reduce the ambient noise, we cannot turn off heat or air. I try to get permission to record at home but this is not always allowed.

I have recorded in an office setting, however the instructional design
department in that company had set aside a room for people doing
voice-overs. It wasn't insulated but at least there were no phones, no air
conditioners, no background noises or voices, so it worked pretty well. All
the little room had it in was a computer and microphone and office chair.
