I was reading the article and the comments and was wondering what level of detail you add to your storyboards?
- NicoleLegault110 years agoCommunity MemberThanks for the question, Jeff! Can you elaborate what you mean by level of detail? When it comes to my prototypes, they are usually just black/white/grey with simple wireframe shapes and the final text. Usually there's no final images (simply placeholders or ideas for final content) and no color scheme or fun visual details. That all gets done during the styling. The prototype is just for content and flow, in my case. What about you, Jeff? What level of detail do you normally include in storyboards? Does it depend on the client?
- IvanaVayleux10 years agoCommunity MemberThank you very much for this article Nicole ! I would like to try to make this storyboard-prototype in Storyline for my next projet. Is there any example of it ? I've read a lot about it, I just need to see how it looks like :)
- ShariHanlon-2f410 years agoCommunity MemberJeff, I use my storyboards to have my SMEs "approve" my audio script and approach. I build a prototype in Storyline and include enough screen content to give the SME an idea of what will be seen however I ask them to concentrate on the audio scripting. I then adjust my screen graphics to support the audio narration that they have approved. Finally, I publish the course to a staging area in our LMS and ask the SMEs to perform final testing and approval of the course and its functionality.
