Educating the client is important. Sometime we found client has the wrong expectation on an authoring tool. Below are some of the common wrong expectation from someone that is looking for an authoring tool.
1. Having a software that can solve all eLearning content development needs
2. Expecting the authoring tool to perform like a media tool. For example video/audio editing, 3D animation, image editing, etc
3. Comparing authoring tool with Learning Management System (LMS)
4. Wanting video as the output format
5. Mixing up the features that should be performed by LMS
6. Depending on authoring tool. It is just a tool to help us to create but it required others like creativity, materials/media, instructional design, etc in order to build an impactful eLearning content.
