Re: Follow These Tips to Reduce Your Risk of Corrupting or Losing Project Files

GREAT POST, Nicole! I think most of us have been in that situation where we go to access a file and can't find it and it is a horrible, awful feeling. Following these recommendations are sure to ease that heartbreak :)

Thanks Ashley! It happens to the best of us... In fact, it recently happened to me, which is what prompted me to write this post. Luckily I version and backup obsessively so I only lost a minimal amount of work, but that's only because I learned my lesson the hard way and once (many years ago) lost like a weeks worth of work because I wasn't backing up properly.. It only took me that one time to learn my lesson haha

Great article Nicole and I am glad that I already follow most of these steps (maybe my full-time job as ITSM is the reason). I would like to add something to your points, which is the "routine" effect. I believe that many of us, even though we may know some measures in order to avoid a loss-of-files incident, we are kind of "bored" or so deeply dedicated to our project that we don't give the proper attention to apply them.
