I estimated my expected hours on projects and made proposals (quotes) based on my estimates. I never checked to see if I was even in the ball park. I wanted a stand-alone time/task tracker that did not rely on an internet connection. I found the program called "Todomoo" that fits my needs. It tracks my time on each task and calculates the cost based on a specified rate. I can now verify my estimates and make more precise quotes for future work.
