Here's a question: Is it possible to use a sliding menu system (hides/appears with a click of a button) that doesn't appear behind the contact you place on your slides?
Every time I use Master Slides I after add "extra" room for a sliding side menu if I use Master Slides. The sliding menu ends up appearing behind any text or other assets I put on the slide.

However, you might try adding your sliding menu to a LAYER on your master slide. That might be a workaround for you. Also, check out this sliding meun template created by community member Jeff Kortenbosch: https://community.articulate.com/download/storyline-2-animated-menu. It might work for you?
