    This is my first entry in the Weekly Challenges. As a keen cyclist who hasn't yet been brave enough to use cleats (shoes that clip to the pedals), I thought I would remind myself how much easier it would be if I did. Many thanks to my patient husband for modelling for the photos.

    Awesome! This is final exams week so I have been so busy all week. I am almost done with my sample and will hopefully post this weekend. What is the usual schedule of events? Do the challenges come out on Fridays and is there an expected deadline?

    On another note, I am also encouraging the other Instructional Designers at Ole Miss to join in the fun! I hope they will have time after this week of exams is over. :-)

      That's great, Niki! Good luck with exams.

      David posts new challenges on Friday and has a strict requirement that, if we choose to enter, we do it whenever we'd like.

      He puts out an initial recap the following Thursday, so if you really wanted to be in the first wave you could shoot for that - but it really doesn't matter because he carefully, assiduously, and thoughtfully updates the recaps to include your work regardless of when you submit it.

    Okay, so I didn't do a cute training with a hermit crab in it but I did make this Ergonomics consultation interactivity. Please be warned that the email function seems to only work with Outlook...

    I will do a write up too. Also if you don't select anything and try to email it will prompt you to select something.

      Cool demo Melissa. Worked great in Outlook. You might want to put a dummy email address instead of your own in case people actually submit. You might end up with a whole bunch of ergonomics consults. :)

        Thanks, Jeff! I was motivated to choose this topic as I suffer from pain associated from a flattened spine. So ergonomics are very important to me and with the number of people who spend umteens hours on their devices, including me, it was a no-brainer. I real focus was on learning to use variables, thanks to Gary - he helped me see where I was off. But, good news is I am getting this variable thing down!! :)
